ADC Young Guns 8






WHO CAN ENTER?

Entrants must be professionals working in the field(s) of graphic design, photography, illustration, advertising and art direction, environmental design, film, animation & video, interactive design, architecture, copywriting, object design and typography. If your work does not fit within any of these categories, this does not necessarily mean that it isn't eligible - email info@adcyoungguns.org to make sure.

Entrants must be 30 years of age or younger when the entry site opens each year, and must have been working professionally for at least 2 years (both full-time and freelance work qualify). We will require a proof of age in the form of a Passport, State ID or drivers license from all entrants.

If you are a student with two years of the working life under your belt, you are also eligible to enter. Previous ADC Young Guns entrants ARE eligible to enter, but past ADC Young Guns winners are NOT eligible to enter subsequent cycles of the competition.

ADC Young Guns is an international competition open to all who qualify.

ENTRY FEE: $135 USD. All entries must be submitted by May 12, 2010.

London International Creative Competition


London International Creative Competition (LICC) is a vehicle for facilitating contact between uniquely talented artists and an international audience. LICC invites passionate visual artists, regardless of experience or nationality, to submit their innovative artwork for inclusion in the LICC competition. The artwork is juried by a board of internationally esteemed artists, writers, curators, gallery owners and other luminaries of the visual arts. The 15 finalists work will be presented at the LICC awards ceremony in London, one prize-winner will be chosen by the jury to receive the £2,000 cash prize. This year’s categories: Architectural, Audio/Music. Design (Environmental/Fashion/Graphic/Interior), Drawing/Illustration, Installation, Mixed Media, NetArt/Web Design, Painting, Performance, Photography, Printmaking, Sculpture, Textile, Video and Film, Writing. Other. Entry fee is £20 (Students £15). To make the competition more accessible to an international community, some countries have a 50% discount.

Northern Design Competition 2010


The Northern Design Competition was developed to raise the profile of design talent in the North, by highlighting opportunities to employers and students. This contest is open to all students in pre-16 education and further or higher education studying at a school, college or university which is based in Scotland, Wales, Northern England or Northern Ireland. Entries are welcomed from students who have a permanent residence outside of these areas as long as their education institution is located in one of the UK entry zones. There are several key categories and a number of special prizes: Architectural Design, Fashion Design, Film & Animation, Graphic Design, Illustration, Interactive Media, Photography, Product Design, Young Northern Designer, Maurice Miller Design Champion, Thompson Real World Prize, North Inspired Prize. The intellectual property rights in any entry to the Northern Design Competition remain the property of the entrant.
